Where is a bee's stinger?

Have you ever wondered when you have gotten stung by a bee, where's the stinger?

First of all a bee has 3 main parts which are: the head, the thorax and the abdomen.

The abdomen is at the end of the body and that is where the stinger is located.

The reason it especially hurts is because the stinger is barbed, so that means that if a bee stings you the bee will lose its stinger and when the bee tries to fly away its important body parts all come out.

So a bee will not attack you if it absolutely needs to.
